This program just works! Its almost magic how much louder it makes your computer. Watching movies, listening to music, everything! Great App!

As Good as it Sounds
Excellent program. Fixed Netflix playback at low volumes on my MacBook Pro. I tend to only use Boom for overall system sound and not increase the volume of individual files.

Never watch a movie without it
Seriously, this app has improved my media experience on my computer--especially with movies-- in a huge way. I didnt even know what I was missing until I tried Boom, but now I wont watch a movie or listen to music without it. There is no complex functionality to get used to or settings to constantly adjust, and with the hotkeys, you just tap a button and you are good to go. I highly recommend this app.

If you listen to music, get this NOW
I have a pair of $100 earbuds, but I cant believe how much better music sounds with Boom. Instant, significant improvement in sound quality, but not some gimmicky, reverb-type effect like other sound utils do. Apple should buy this company out and build it into the next OSX version.

Volume Control
I am not an avid reviewer, but this app deserves recognition. Boom helps me on those times whenever I need a volume boost - especially with LVWs (low-volume videos). It even works its magic with your headphones! That being said, always check your volume with or without headphones. The last thing you want are nonfunctional speakers. I recommend this you everyone!

so great
Every computer or smartphone Ive ever used plays audio much too softly. Boom solves that problem, as my computer now can play any audio as loud as necessary! This is a great application. Now they have me dying for Boom for iOS! Hopefully its eventually possible for the developers to make it.

A must if you listen to music through the internal speakers
Boom really does amazing things with those tiny speakers - especially on my Air. It also allows fine control over the sound, via the equalizer, when I am playing music through the stereo. I have an equalizer setting for headphones, my stereo, and for the internal speakers that makes a huge difference - even if you are not an audiophile, you will come to depend on this app.

Its Boombastic
Boom has been more than a great buy. Its simple, easy to use, and leaves room for tinkering. I especially like the preset sound levels that you can choose for Music, Movies, Electronic, and more. I had a little trouble with the registration code, but after two emails and less than a day, it was fixed. When switching from speakers to headphones, the sound is never jarring, and its amazing just how lound my mac can get. I highly recommend this App to anyone not satified with the sound output of their mac.

Spoils me.
This app makes my macbook the only device I can really enjoy media on. Its amazing. I have ear problems, sinus issues have always made it hard for me to hear. And this really helps. Thanks so much!
