They say things don’t get worse, they get better. The same could be applicable to Camera Plus, the free camera zoom app for the iPhone. What started off as a simple, easy to use camera zoom and preview app, has now become power packed with the latest version 1.1. Yes, Camera Plus v1.1 is out now and is available on the App Store as I speak (or type ). We promised some exciting news and I am proud to say we have delivered. The response to Camera Plus was awesome, and I am sure it’s going to be even better now, with the new version. A few snapshots of what the UI looks like now with the feature additions:

Although you might have guessed what the new feature additions are, i’ll list them down for you:

☛Simulated Flash: Camera Plus v1.1 now comes with a Simulated Flash. Say bye to dim pictures  .  This feature of Camera Plus also makes it work like a night camera. So you can take pictures in the dark and still be able to see them. The new version of Camera Plus, offers you the best Simulated Flash among all other camera flash apps and it gets added in just a second. The image saving time has been improved in the new version.

☛Point Zoom: Now you have the flexibility of zooming to a particular point by just tapping that point on the screen. This is of great help especially when you want to focus on one particular aspect of the image. Just select the Point Zoom button, tap and hold to zoom on a particular spot on your screen or slide to zoom to that point or double tap to reset.

☛Localization: Camera Plus v1.1 is now available in Italian, French, Spanish, German and Japanese languages, thus our customers from those countries can be more comfortable with the app.

An important point we would like to mention is the response from all of you for Camera Plus. Camera Plus has crossed 100,000 downloads in just 13 days and we are still counting. We owe all this to you and are happy to see our app so well received. Your comments on the App Store tells us all and we promise to give you more reasons to love the app with future updates. wOOt! And wOOt again. The atmosphere is one of celebration and jubilation here at Global Delight. No it’s not ‘cos Barack Obama won the Nobel Prize for Peace, it’s even better. Camera Plus has made it to the Top 100 slot under Top Free Apps, with the No.2 position in the Italian App Store and and No.3 position in the Greece App Store. We have been receiving raving reviews for the app from all of you. We can’t thank you enough for making this happen. A product’s success depends on it’s acceptance among the people who use it. And it’s proved to be true.

A simple, easy to use app, catering to the basic need of photography on an iPhone is what Camera Plus does and its amazing to see the phenomenon it’s creating on the App Store. Thanks to all of you!

All of us like our pictures taken (not me though, they somehow always come out wierd ). What better way to remember and treasure those wonderful memories than with a reliable camera in hand, eh? And now you dont even have to carry around a bulky camera. Just take out your camera equipped mobile phones or iPhones, and snap away. I am sure you might have a fair idea as to what I am talking about by now. A prelude was given in the previous post with this image:

So I guess it’s time to reveal what’s up. When you try to snap a picture on your iPhone, you will notice that you don’t have a zoom option. This can be a problem especially when you try to capture far off images. You would have to be either content with the distant shot or would have to run to the subject of your photography for a close up. We intend to eliminate these two unsatisfying options with our new app, Camera Plus for your iPhone, available for download on the App Store for FREE !

With Camera Plus, you have the option of zoom upto 4x. So you can quit running till your subject, zoom instead . Another feature of our app is that it enables you to preview the images as soon as it is captured. Thus you can always capture another shot immediately if not satisfied with the previous shot. You also have the option of capturing a landscape or portrait image. What you will absolutely love about Camera Plus is that it is so simple to use.
