I am really excited as I write this post. After the release of the latest upgrade of Camera Plus Pro, we have received an overwhelming response from all of you. It feels good to know that all the effort has paid off so well.

We went through all the entries and are extremely delighted with the results. The jury at Global Delight had a very tough time picking the top 10. Now we leave it all up to you to choose the winner. To make voting fun and easy we have posted the top 10 finalists on our Contest Page, where you can log in using your Facebook account and vote for your friends and families. The voting would run through May 28. So garner all the support that you can.

The photo with the maximum number of likes would win the coveted iPad 2. Use the following criteria to cast your votes:

Metamorphosis or transformation is what Camera Plus Pro has undergone in these past two years of its existence in the App Store to become one of the best camera apps. So this seems to be the perfect time, and also the title, for an EXCITING contest for all of you. Join in the fun!

Mission

Just capture what appeals to you the most and craft it further into a beautiful art using the filters and effects available in Camera Plus Pro app. The key is to get creative because this time we are looking for images that display a sound knowledge of photographic skill and are creative. We have full faith in your creativity and we are sure that each one of you would come up with a great picture. So go on and take inspiration from the beauty around you - the parks, beach, benches, fields, bridges, spring, friends, relationships, adventures, etc.

Submission

Once you have found your perfect shot and are satisfied with your art, it’s time to send in your entries to us. You can send a maximum of three entries per participant, so be careful of the shots you choose. Use any of these methods below to submit your entries.

Note: All your entries must be uploaded or e-mailed directly from within the app to the delivery methods mentioned above. For Facebook entries, please follow the directions stated above.

Judging criteria

Once the submission period gets over the jury at Global Delight would review all the entries and select 10 photos out of the ones submitted by all of you for the final voting. The selected entries would be up on our Contest page for voting from May 24 to May 28. The photo with the maximum number of “Likes” and “Retweets” will get an iPad 2!

To make it to the top 10 artists you would have to fulfill the following criteria:

• Originality
• Creativity
• Quality of the picture
• Overall execution

Prizes

Metamorphosis has an excellent set of prizes for all of you. So, just follow the rules before you take your leap.

Grand Prize - The best entry voted by you all would have a chance to win one of the most coveted device, the iPad 2.

The first runner up is no far behind because he would be receiving an iPod touch that has completely changed the way we listen to music today.

And the rest three of you would also have some music to your ears with the amazing iPod shuffle.

We also have an added surprise for the winners which is a chance for the best entry to be featured in our ad scheduled for a later date to come out in Macworld, one of the biggest hub for Mac-related news.

Wait up, am still not done, there are more prizes to be grabbed. During the contest, we would be posting daily tweets on our Twitter account, all you have to do is re-tweet it to your followers. There’s also something similar for our Facebook fans. We have uploaded a contest artwork on our page, just share it with your friends.

At the end of the day we will collect the names of all the tweets and Facebook Share and select a random winner to be awarded with an iTunes Gift Card of $20. The winners would be announced each day; however the gift would be dispatched to you at the end of the contest.
