The theme of the contest was ‘City Life‘. We received quite a lot of interesting photo entries both by email and through Twitter and Facebook uploads. We got to see interesting photos of various cities from around the world. There was a close fight for the top spot but finally our Jury of judges decided on the winning entry.

The theme of last month’s contest was Nostalgia. During the past week we received several entries from all of you via email, Facebook and Twitter, showing us instances of your idea of Nostalgia. And believe me, they have been absolutely delightful to go through. The jury at Global Delight had a tough time choosing the winning entry out of the amazing photos sent in by all of you. But as is always true, there can only be one winner!

Trisha used a combination of Antique and Washed filters to bring out this truly neat effect. Almost takes me back to the ’50s!

Hey all! After the awesome Metamorphosis contest we have yet another contest now!

Theme

The theme of the contest is Nostalgia.

Nostalgia is often triggered by something reminding the individual of an event or item from their past. The resulting emotion can vary from happiness to sorrow. The term of “feeling nostalgic” is more commonly used to describe pleasurable emotions associated with and/or a longing to go back to a particular period of time.

We have added nine filters under the Nostalgia Effects to edit a picture and give it a nostalgic look. The various filters under Nostalgia Effects are Coffee, Lomo, Inked, Chocolate, Retro Green, Rust, Antique, Retro Red and Washed.

How to participate?

- The photo has to be taken with the iPhone using Camera Plus Pro app.

- You have to apply one or more of these 9 filters in the Nostalgic Effects (Coffee, Lomo, Inked, Chocolate, Retro Green, Rust, Antique, Retro Red and Washed) to edit the photo.

- You can send as many entries as you want.

- Once edited, you can share the edited photos with the Camera Plus Pro team through Facebook or Twitter. (Refer procedure below). Follow us on Twitter: @camerapluspro or Like our Camera Plus Pro’s Facebook Page
