The Camera Plus mania just refuses to die down, but we aren’t complaining, we love it that way!
Camera Plus has been featured under the New and Noteworthy section, yet again, in the UK App Store. We are thankful to Apple for featuring Camera Plus as a Noteworthy app. We are also thankful to all of you who downloaded Camera Plus and supported us. Camera Plus Pro is on it’s way to the App Store, and we would love it if you support it with the same gusto. And those of you who still haven’t tried Camera Plus, why don’t you just give it a try?

I may sound like a game-show host, but I can’t help myself from being really enthusiastic about the contest. We have pictures flooding in from Twitter, Facebook and Flickr. And great pictures at that. Never knew you guys are such great photographers. Most of the pictures have just taken my breath away with the brilliant colors and the sheer creativity in capturing them. Great going people
.
As part of the Camera Plus Photo Contest we had announced free Voila Mac Screen Capture Tool licenses to be given away as a lucky draw every week. We have picked three lucky winners from the past three weeks. They are State Christopher, Marie Johansen and Owen Pon. The winners were picked using a random number generator. Here are their entries:

Congratulations guys! You are going to love Voila as much as you love Camera Plus. The rest of you who didn’t win, worry not, you are still eligible for the coming week’s lucky draw. You might just get lucky
. Do check out the other entries submitted on Facebook and Flickr. And if you don’t find your picture there, then it’s about time you submitted one. If you haven’t tried Camera Plus yet, try it now!
The Pro version of Camera Plus is almost ready; so all the contestants, keep your fingers crossed. Have fun!

I like pictures in Black and White. There’s always a mystery to it. Like, I wonder what the color of her hair is or what might be the color of his shirt and many such things. I guess that’s what makes a Black and White picture so interesting. It lets you imagine. Perhaps this is the overall feeling among most of you as we received many requests to add the Black and White feature in Camera Plus.
And like we always say, your wish is our command, the new version 1.2 of Camera Plus comes with a Black and White feature. Simply apply the B/W option after clicking a picture and Voila! you have a Black and White photograph. You can also convert your previous images from your collections into Black and White.
Now most of you wanted to have control over the app by being able to choose which picture you want to save. Thus you have the ‘Preview before Save’ option in the new version. This is beneficial in two ways. One, you can choose to save what you want, rather than having all the pictures that you captured getting saved. This enables you with better photo management. It also greatly helps in reducing the disk space being used up in your device. Secondly, this option helps you to save battery power that would be otherwise consumed while saving a picture directly into the disk.
The feature additions in the new version of Camera Plus is a result of the extremely helpful feedback received from all of you. We hope you continue to enjoy using Camera Plus and keep giving us your valuable feedback. We know all of you are waiting for the Pro version to come out and are excited about what new features will be a part of it. Guess what, we are too!
The Pro version will be out soon. In the meantime, keep sending in your entries for the Camera Plus Photo contest, you can read the details here. Who knows, you may get to see the Pro version before anyone else does!
