They say that the world’s best camera is the one which you have with you. Even though, a professional photographer will always say that you need proper equipment when you want to capture a great shot, but this is not always the case. No matter which camera you have, a talented photographer can capture amazing photos with the most basic piece of equipment. Yes, this means, you can capture great photos using just your mobile device.

iPhone4 has become the most popular Camera in the Flickr Community.

A mobile camera, such as an iPhone, is a hand-held device and even though the default camera app comes with few basic features, it is not enough to provide you with better capture features. This is where Camera Plus Pro comes in.

Here are a few tips for capturing amazing photos with iPhone and how Camera Plus Pro will enable you to take better photos:

1. Creativity is the key - Always try to do something new. Try new angles, new perspectives. Trying out different things will add new dimensions to your photography skills and that’s what iPhoneography is all about. (iPhone is a small, handy and powerful camera device)
2. Use the maximum resolution supported by your iPhone camera - Camera Plus Pro lets you take photos with maximum resolution supported by iPhone. So in iPhone 4, max resolution is 2048×1536. Some times, a photo needs to be captured just for sharing purpose, so you can capture Low and Medium resolution photos too.

   Camera Plus Pro features: Zoom, Slide to Exposure, White Balance

   Get up close to the subject - iPhone has digital zoom and even if you want to take photos using this zoom, the photo comes out of a lesser quality. Get up close to the subject rather than use zoom feature every time (for taking portrait or group photos).

4. Awareness of Proper Lighting - At times, the photo which you want to shot is not properly lit, with Slide to Exposure and Tap to Focus features in Camera Plus Pro, you can adjust the lighting and focus on the subject to suit your requirements.
5. Flash - Use Flash only when necessary. To use Flash or not to use Flash is a very important question.
6. White Balance - White Balance is an important aspect of photography/videography that helps you in capturing the true colors. You might have seen that in some of your photographs white appears to have a bluish cast over it and thus the image/video appears a bit different. In Camera Plus Pro, with white balance in the automatic mode (AWB), the colors would be recorded as they appear in reality. If you do not want the camera to change the white balance under different lighting conditions, you can tap on it once to lock it.

7. 

   Rule of Thirds / Gridlines

   Rule of Thirds / Gridlines - With the gridlines, you basically divide the photo into 9 parts with the important parts of the photo lying on the four intersection points on the frame. When you place points of interest on these four points, the photo becomes more balanced and interactive to the eyes of the viewer. When capturing the photo shown on the right, the left eye lies on the intersection of the gridlines and catches the viewer’s attention.  (To know more, click here)

8. Anti shake - No one wants to look at a blurry photo (else you wanted to take a creative one). When in a crowded place or in a moving vehicle, use the Anti Shake feature to automatically capture the photo as soon as Camera Plus Pro detects that the iPhone is stable enough to capture photo.
9. Timer - Want to take self-portraits or delay in taking a photo. With the Timer feature in Camera Plus Pro, you can set the time between pressing the capture button and the actual capture to take place. It gives you ample time to set the camera when taking self-portraits or place the iPhone on a steady surface and capture a group photo with you in the group.
10. Add Geo-Tags on your photo to imprint Meta data of the location where the photo was taken.
11. Capture a test photo - It is always better to take a test photo and check whether the photo settings are perfect or not. It helps by saving time when you need to shoot a lot of photos.
12. Capture, Shoot and Capture - Practice makes perfect. When taking photos, do not think whether the people passing by are staring at you or not. (Read Tip#1)
