Boom Volume Booster App now on the Mac App Store!

Boom really needs no introduction. Half of you who have a Mac know what it does, and the other half wish they had a Mac, so that they could use Boom. Well the good news is for those who held back on buying the web version of Boom. You can now buy your copy of Boom from the Mac App Store! We are running it 50% off i.e., only $4.99 on Boom to celebrate its availability on the Mac App Store. So be sure to grab your copy now, since the offer will only last till 22nd of June, 2011.
A note to those wishing to buy Boom from the Mac App Store. The workflow has been changed a bit, you are now required to download the Boom Audio component just to be able to boost the volume of your Mac. But after that, the app pretty much functions in the same way as the web version does. You don’t have to worry too much about this as the app will guide you through out, with some very informative illustrations. Also, to those who already have the web version of Boom and now want to obtain a copy from the Mac App Store, you can just delete your previous copy (instead of uninstalling it) before you buy from the Mac App Store. This will save you the time of installing the Boom audio component once again.
A little background on Boom:
Boom, a Macworld Best of Show 2011 winner, was released at the Macworld Expo 2011, on January 27, 2011. Boom is a simple one-click volume booster application. Boom can greatly boost the volume of your Mac so that you have a better audio experience while playing games, watching movies, watching online videos on YouTube™, listening to music, and also during Skype™ calls. Now enjoy a better music experience on your iPod/iPhone because Boom can also boost the volume of the music and video files in your iTunes playlist and automatically sync it back.

Will you be running any upgrade program for those of us that purchased boom already? (a la RealMac?)
I need to urge ANYONE considering buying this product to beware. I purchased this product at a discount for the trial version and then I purchased it at a discounted price. When I downloaded it with the registration number and proof of purchase, it would not allow me to register it as it kept insisting that it was a trial version. An endless cycle of not being able to register this product. I tried everything to get it onto my computer and to no avail. I have not heard back from this company yet, but this has to be attended to a.s.a.p.
If I buy Boom now from the app store and I buy a new Macbook a few months from now, will I be able to install Boom on the new laptop as well? Or will I have to buy a new version of Boom?
BEWARE buying this software! I downloaded the trial version which is good for seven days. On the seventh day, my audio suddenly quit working completely. I threw BOOM in the trash, emptied it and re-booted. STILL no audio, no sound, nothing (except for the system chime when you turn on Mac). So now I’m in a devil of a pickle. Anyone have any suggestions as to what to do?
@E. Schley Please read this post where we urge you not to ‘Trash’ your app.

@Gabe that would not be necessary.

@Joe our Support Team has already been in touch with you, regarding your queries.
This is a good program. I always use skype because I do tutorials online and sometimes the audio quality is poor. So I might as well try this one to see if it really works. Thanks for sharing.
