Phew! Judging can be quite tiring. Just realized that after the most recent contest that we had. Yup, I am referring to the One word for Voila contest to win a free license. It was quite interesting to read the entries for the contest. Everyone was at his/her creative best. But like it is always said there can only be one winner (in this case two!), we had to pick from among the many entries. So here it is, the champion of the battle Phil, with his brilliant entry Voilariffic. It really blew our mind! Phil, I guess you must have put WordDigest to good use!smile
The second winner, a last minute decision by us, ‘cos we just could not ignore his entry, is Reinhard Duczek. He sent us an entry superkalifragilistikexpialigetisch via Twitter, which is German for ‘Fantastic’. So if anyone out there has an opinion otherwise, all I am going to say is “Voila is superkalifragilistikexpialigetisch!”(By the time I finish it, the person might be bowled oversmile)

Changing tracks, you must be wondering what’s happening with Voila. You have plenty of reason to be curious and we have the perfect pill. Yes, a new update of Voila with some pleasant surprises is up for release soon. So keep watching this space! Peace! smile

Um… yeah. That is so not German for anything. I guess Reinhard pulled the wool over your eyes. Isn’t there a Bollywood version of Mary Poppins?

How about my entry, atheifsezwat. That’s Spanglish for sexy.

    Hi Bob,
I guess you are a tad bit late in posting the entry :) However we have more exciting contests coming up. Make sure you post your entries on time then. :)

    To the marketing team,

Just wanted to thank you for your generous prize offering. I will surely put this app to good use. And no, I did not use WordDigest :-)

One other note. I’ve read some of the comments throughout your blog and must commend you on leaving those asinine remarks regarding a competitor instead of censoring them. LS is a fine product, but the vulgarity of some of their posts makes me want to respond in kind. Instead, I’ll try to take the high road and just say I’m glad that the world can see some perfect examples of where the ability to string together a few words in a post does NOT represent any sort of higher intelligence whatsoever. Or to put it more succinctly, I guess even chimps have learned how to use screen capture and are now expressing their opinions!
